Melo Group has filed new plans to build a massive twin-tower Edgewater project called Island Bay, which could become the biggest ever condo development for the company. Twin towers would rise 60 stories, or 648 feet above ground. That matches or exceeds the height of the tallest buildings planned or completed in the neighborhood.
Altogether, 782 private units are arranged between the two towers, which will probably be condos from the design plans and area. Renderings show the towers would have a crisscross plan along overhangs, and furthermore seem to have a lighting plan around evening time.
Engineer Melo Group is mentioning endorsement from Miami-Dade’s Shoreline Review Committee for the proposition. Melo will likewise require city endorsements to shut down avenues for the structure’s impression, in spite of the fact that the designer says they will devote back land to the city in return.
Arquitectonica is the architect.
